What does Rush Limbaugh have in common with NWA?

NWA

I’ll admit it, I’m a talk radio junkie. I’m not exposed to a lot of new music because I spend most of my radio time listening to NPR and Rush Limbaugh. I like to balance it out that way. :) I’ve been listening to Rush since I was 15. Rush got his start in the 70s as a disc jockey so he uses clever tunes for his bumper music. I first noticed this a few years ago, one of his bumper clips is a recording of a man saying “The Saga Continues”. It didn’t hit me right away but after hearing it a few times I recognized the voice. It’s none other than Dr. Dre and it’s actually an edited clip from an NWA song titled Prelude since it was the first track on their album named Niggaz4life which came out in 1991. What’s been edited is the cursing. The actual clip says “The Mutha Fuckin Saga Continues” which is a great way to start that album since the entire thing is one genius curse after another. So now you know what Rush Limbaugh has in common with NWA, although I’d be very surprised if Rush knows that’s where that clip comes from. :)
