After some research I was able to figure out how to get my USBconnect Mercury 3G USB stick from AT&T Wireless working on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop. I have extracted the drivers from the universal driver package from Sierra Wireless and have posted them here for you to use. Install the software that comes with the device and then update to the drivers I’ve posted here from within the Device Manager. Included in the package below are also the Windows 7 32 bit drivers.
Sierra Wireless USBconnect Mercury Drivers for Windows 7
UPDATE:
Sierra has posted updated drivers since I wrote this post. You can download them directly from Sierra by clicking here.

disco: thanks for posting the drivers–they worked fine and Win7 is now recognizing the Mercury USBConnect modem. But the AT&T Communications Manager still won’t recognize the HSPA modem–I get the error message “No Wireless Device Detected.” Wondering how you got around this? Thanks.
Check the Device Manager for devices that don’t have a driver yet. There are about 8 devices tied to this one device and you have to make sure you’ve installed a driver from this package for all of them before it will work. Once you’ve done that, restart the computer and fire up the Comm Mgr and it should work.
Thanks man! This was the final thing I had to get working on my new Dell Adamo with Windows 7. This was a life saver!
Thanks
Greg
This worked like a charm. I tried several things from other posts without luck, but this was instant. Just remember to reboot and follow the instructions given to Greg above.
make that John instead of greg.
That worked, thanks for saving me a whole bunch of time trying to figure it out myself.

Thank you SO MUCH. I am in the middle of nowhere and ATT is useless. Connect to an open WI-Fi, do a google search, and YOUR SITE has the easy answers to make ATT’s product work. I don’t normally comment, being a General and Evil and all, but you got me back on the path to world domination. Thanks again.

sysadmin, I downloaded the drivers and it says I’m connected (yay), but it doesn’t let me bring up any sites. IE tells me I’m not connected to an internet provider. Granted I do live in the middle of nowhere and have next to no service. The att driver is sitting in a window blinking at me. Any way you could help?
@miranda – It sounds like you didn’t get an IP, I would try rebooting. Also, try a diff. browser (like Google Chrome).
Gostaria do driver do Modem HUAWEI Mobile Broadband modelo E1752.
